Internship Responsibilities

As an intern, you will collaborate closely with research scientists and team members on daily development activities. Your tasks will include:

• Developing and optimizing computer vision projects related to object and face detection, tracking, and content analysis/generation.
• Engaging in AI development activities such as training, testing, and bug fixing to build robust models.

Essential Skills for Computer Vision Internship

To be a successful candidate, you must have:

• Strong knowledge and programming experience with Python, PyTorch, and other machine learning and deep learning libraries.
• Experience with state-of-the-art deep neural networks for real-world object detection, tracking, recognition, and content analysis.
• Knowledge of efficient large vision models and multi-modal approaches for various computer vision tasks.
• Familiarity with generative AI models using advanced Transformers, GANs, and Diffusion models.

Preferred Qualifications for SONY Internship (Computer Vision)

While not mandatory, the following skills are highly desirable:

• A proven research record with publications in top-tier conferences like CVPR, ECCV, ICCV, WACV, BMVC, NeurIPS, AAAI.
• Proficiency with PyTorch, Scikit-Image, Pandas, and OpenCV in Python.

Eligibility Criteria for SONY Internship (Computer Vision)

This internship is open to students pursuing or having completed an MS/MSc/MTech/PhD degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Data Science, Information Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Applications, or related technical disciplines.

Internship Duration and Location

• Duration: 6 months, starting in the fourth week of September 2024.
• Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Location: Hybrid/Remote working from Bangalore, with opportunities in Bengaluru and Mumbai.
