About the Internship at IIT Bombay

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement interactive 3D web applications using Three.js and related technologies like WebGL and WebXR.
• Optimize 3D assets, including models, textures, and animations, for efficient performance in web applications.
• Write and maintain high-quality, well-structured, and commented code, adhering to best practices and industry standards.
• Perform thorough testing and debugging of Three.js applications to ensure optimal performance, compatibility, and responsiveness across various platforms and devices.
• Provide technical documentation, including design documents, user guides, and API specifications, to effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Available for a full-time, in-office internship.
• Able to start the internship between 29th May 2024 and 3rd July 2024.
• Available for the full duration of 3 months.
• Possess relevant skills and interests.

Other Requirements for Internship at IIT Bombay :

• Strong experience in developing interactive 3D web applications using Three.js and related technologies like WebGL and WebXR.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and experience with front-end web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.

Good-to-have Skills:

• Knowledge of 3D graphics principles, including modeling, texturing, lighting, and animation.
• Familiarity with 3D modeling and animation tools and CAD tools, such as Blender.
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
