About the AICTE Summer Internship 2024

Environmental challenges are more pressing than ever, and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has partnered with OPPO India for the Generation Green campaign, managed by 1M1B, to address these issues. This initiative empowers students to become responsible citizens, build a green mindset, and develop the skills necessary for success in a thriving green economy. Through the AICTE Internship Portal, OPPO India is offering internship and skilling opportunities.

Objectives of the Generation Green Internship

The Generation Green Internship aims to:

• Promote sustainability and safer E-waste disposal practices.
• Raise awareness among students about the environmental impact of E-waste.
• Foster an eco-conscious mindset and sustainable practices.
• Develop green skills and engage the wider college community in these vital efforts.

• Mode: Part-Time
• Location: Pan India
• Stipend: ₹ /month
• Credits: 2

Eligibility Criteria

The AICTE Summer Internship 2024 Generation Green Internship is open to all students with relevant skills and interests.

Orientation and Training

Selected students will undergo an orientation that includes training on green skills and sustainability. A specially curated toolkit with resources and materials will be provided to assist interns during the internship period.

Internship Activities

Interns will:

• Conduct outreach activities and engage with the community.
• Empower students with green skills through awareness sessions and engaging challenges.
• Participate in activities aimed at fostering environmental stewardship.

Selection and Responsibilities

Interns will be selected based on evaluations from challenges. They will conduct awareness sessions on environmental issues and engage in green skill development tasks. Throughout the internship, interns will be evaluated on their performance, with successful completion earning a certification jointly signed by AICTE, OPPO India, and 1M1B.
