Vikas Bahl’s supernatural thriller “Shaitaan,” starring Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan, and Jyotika, has been holding its own at the box office. However, recent figures indicate a decline in its earnings, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. The film has amassed Rs 61 crore thus far, with expectations of further growth in the days ahead.
On Monday (Day 4), “Shaitaan” experienced its lowest collection, raking in only Rs 7 crore, marking a 65.85 per cent drop. This downward trend is anticipated to continue in the foreseeable future.
The box office performance on Day 5, as predicted by Sacnilk, is likely to remain subdued. The film’s release coincided with Mahashivratri, giving it a initial boost of around 30-35 per cent in collections.
Initially, the movie garnered Rs 14.75 crore on its opening day, followed by a 27.12 per cent increase on the second day, totaling Rs 18.75 crore. Day 3 saw the highest collection at Rs 20.5 crore.
However, “Shaitaan” witnessed a significant decline in earnings, bringing in only Rs 7 crore on Monday. It is expected to see further drops on Tuesday. Presently, the film has amassed a net total of Rs 61 crore in India, with a worldwide collection estimated at around 80 crore.
The movie’s box office trajectory suggests potential for increased earnings in the days ahead.
