1. Mechanical Engineering: 50 places
2. Electrical and Electronics Engineering: 30 places
3. Computer Science and Engineering / Information Technology: 7 places
4. Civil Engineering: 5 places

Diploma (Technician) Apprentices (Engineering/Technology):

1. Mechanical Engineering: 50 places
2. Electrical and Electronics Engineering: 30 places

Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentices:

Eligibility Criteria for Chennai Apprenticeship 2024

Graduate Apprentices (Engineering/Technology):

• Must hold a full-time degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university or institution.

Diploma (Technician) Apprentices (Engineering/Technology):

• Must hold a full-time diploma in Engineering or Technology from a recognized board or institution.

Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentices:

• Must hold a full-time degree in Arts, Science, Commerce, Humanities such as BA, B.Sc., B.Com., BBA, or BCA from a recognized university.

Key Information for HVF Internship Applicants

1. Age: As per the Apprenticeship Rules.
2. Reservation: Reservations for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates will be as per the Apprenticeship Act guidelines.
3. Physical Standards: As prescribed in Clause 4 of the Apprenticeship Rule 1992.
4. Duration: The apprenticeship training lasts for one year.
5. Experience: Candidates with prior apprenticeship experience or over one year of professional experience are not eligible.
6. Selection Process: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their academic performance. Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email for certificate verification at HVF, Avadi.
7. Application Process:
   • For already enrolled students: Log in to the National Web Portal and apply to “HEAVY VEHICLES FACTORY.”
   • For first-time applicants: Register on the National Web Portal, complete the application form, and then apply to “HEAVY VEHICLES FACTORY.”

2. Last Date for Enrolling in NATS: 19.08.2024
3. Declaration of Shortlisted Candidates: 26.08.2024
